The General Commission of the Department of Computer Engineering 22\9\2014

On Tuesday, 16/9/2014, a meeting of the General Commission for the Department of Computer Engineering was held at Al-Quds hall in the presence of the president of University of Technology (Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer), the head of the Department (Prof. DR. Salih M. Al-Qarraawi) and his administrative and scientific deputies, the heads of the branches and all faculty members and employees of the department.
At the beginning of the meeting The head of the department welcomed the University's President and thanked him for always attending such meetings due to their positive impact on promoting the spirit of cooperation between the departments and the university's Presidency to achieve the desired goal of the advancement of educational process and services offered by the university to the society. After that, the president of the university discussed the most important achievements accomplished by the University during the last academic year 2013\2014 and how the university is striving constantly to improve the scientific level to get to higher ranks among the Iraqi and International universities. He then asked everyone to participate and express their opinions and observations and consult with the head of the department and university in matters concerning work within the department.
For his part, the head of the department emphasized on advancing in the scientific level of the students and making sure they are taken care of, educationally and scientifically, because they are one of the three pillars of the educational process which include faculty, students and scientific subjects, he also asserted on the need for Teamwork and constructive initiatives and join of efforts between employees of the department in general and the teaching staff in particular to achieve the desired goal of the department.
